Hoy es el día de acción de gracias y he pensado en pasarme por aquí un momentito y daros las gracias a tod@s por vuestro apoyo a estos mis maravillosos mundos. Para ello nada mejor que una entrada exprés para enseñaros unas tarjetas de agradecimiento que hice hace unos días.

Hi everyone!!!

Today is thanksgiving day and I though it wouls be a good idea to pass through the blog to thank you all for all your support to my marvellous crafty worlds. To do it, nothing better than come with a express post to show you some thank you cards I did some days ago.

Stand up card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros una tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice hace tiempo y que es del estilo que se mantiene de pie, para poder dejarla durante un tiempo a modo de decoración.

Hi everyone!!!

I come today with a stand up card I did some time ago to wish happy birthday to a friend.

Hice la estructura desde cero con una cartulina blanca, a la cual le puse unas manchitas de glimmer Mist. Troquelé diferentes formas de flores, hojas y mariposas y le hice una cama para colocar encima el sentimiento. Para sostener las tarjeta puse una linea de perlitas y termine de adornar la tarjeta poniendo mas perlitas por todo en diferente colores y tamaños.

I made the card structure from scratch with a white cardboard. I threw some stains of glimmer mist to give it some background colour. I die cut some flowers, leaves and butterflies and added on top the sentiments. To keep the card strait I added a raw of pearls and added all around different colour and sizes of pearls to finish off the card decoration.

Tarjeta de despedida / Farewell card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros la tarjeta que hice para desearle suerte a Laura en su nueva aventura. Laura es una de las integrantes de esta pequeña gran familia que tenemos montada aquí en Inglaterra, quien ha decidido volver a España después de 5 años compartiendo correrías por esta parte del mundo.

Hi everyone!!!

Today I come to show you the card I made to wish luck to Laura at within her new adventure. Laura is one of the grat little family we have here in England, who has decided to go back to Spain after 5 years sharing wanderings at this side of the world.

Para hacer la tarjeta utilicé papeles de Maggie Holmes para American Crafts. 

Envejecí todos los bordes de los componentes de la tarjeta, lijando un poco los bordes y entintándolos con las tintas distress "fossilized amber" y "aged mahogany". 

Estampé el sentimiento con tinta negra memento y repasé las letras con el tombow funedosuke, para que tuviese más pigmentación.

To make the card I used Maggie Holmes papers for American Crafts. 

I aged all the edges of the components of the card, sanding the edges a bit and inking them with the distress inks "fossilized amber" and "aged mahogany". 

I stamped the feeling with memento black ink and highlighted the letters with the tombow funedosuke, so that it had more pigmentation.

Tarjeta infantil para niña / Girly children card

Hola a tod@s!!!

Hoy es un día muy especial. Es el segundo cumpleaños de la niña de mis ojos.

Como ya sabéis soy una Española afincada en Inglaterra y aunque le voy a ver en unos cuantos días, hoy tristemente no voy a poder compartir con ella su cumpleaños. 

Para marcar la ocasión le he hecho una tarjeta, que espero que su mamá le leerá y la guardará con mucho cariño para que cuando crezca un poquito más y aprenda a interpretar por ella misma el maravilloso mundo de las letras, la lea y comprenda que aunque nos separen cientos de kilómetros la llevo siempre en el corazón.

Hi everyone!!!

Today is a very special day. Is the second birthday of the girl of my eyes.

As you all know I am a Spanish person living in Ingland and even when I will see her in a few days, sadly, today I will not be able to share her birthday with her.

To mark the occasion I made for her a card, which I hope her mum will read to her and will keep it with lot of love until she will grow up a bit more and will be able to interpret the marvelous world of the letters. Then she will be able to read it and undertand that even when we are hundreds of kilometres apart she is always in my heart.

Para realizar la tarjeta he utilizado la colección de papeles "now and then - Dorothy" de Jen Allyson para My mind's eye en formato 6x6. 

La muñequita es la Gorgeous "Bluebird's proposal" y está pintada con copics a excepción del vestido que esta hecho con paper piercing. 

Para terminal la tarjeta he puesto unas cuantas gotitas de liquid pearl en rosa fucsia.

To made the card I used the paper coleccion "now and then - Dorothy" by Jen Allyson for My mind's eye in 6x6 format. 

The little dolly is the Gorgeous "Bluebird's proposal" which is colored with copics, except for the dress, which is done with the paper piercing technique.

To finish the card I ornated with some dots of liquid pearl in fucsia.

Espero que os haya gustado mucho la entrada de hoy, para mi y como os he escrito arriba es una entrada muy especial para enseñaros una tarjeta que encierra grandes sentimientos hacia una personita tan pequeña a la que adoro.

I come today to show you  a card with an interior pocket.

Como podéis ver he realizado una tarjeta muy sencilla en el frontal y le he hecho un bolsillo pequeño interior, para poner una tarjeta regalo, un mensaje escondido,... 

He utilizado papeles de la colección "Cortar y Pegar - instinto" de My mind's eye. El brad que he puesto como adorno, es también de la misma colección.

As you can see I made a clean and simple card on the front and I added a little pocket inside to put a gift card, a hide message,.. 

I used the paper colection "Cut & paste - flair" by My mind's eye. The brad I used to ornate the card is also from the same colection.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños masculina/Male birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros una tarjeta de cumpleaños masculina.

I come today to show you a male's birthday card

De todos es sabido que hacer tarjetas masculinas siempre resulta un poquito más complicado. Es cuestión de buscar papeles adecuados y algún adorno que le de un poco más ese carácter masculino.

Yo para esta tarjeta utilicé unos papeles que me vinieron de regalo con una revista con motivos de viajes y para adornala le añadí un doble tag con el sentimiento y ese coche estampado de una colección de sellos de viajes.

Como era una tarjeta para entregar en mano, decidí adornar el sobre haciendo un poco de lettering.

Everyone knows to do card for a male is always a bit tricky. It's only question to choose the adequatd papers and some ornament with a masculinity touch.

To do this card I used some travel theme papers which came as a gift with a magazine, /to ornated I did a double tag with the sentiment and the stamped car.

I decided to do a bit of lettering on the envelope, as it was a card to give on hand.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños infantil / Children birthday card

Hoy vengo con una entrada express para enseñaros una tarjeta de cumpleaños infantil que hice hace poco.

Hi everyone!!!

I come today with a short post to show you a children's birthday card I did a few days ago.

Para hacerla utilicé restos de papeles de colores brillantes de una colección que tenia por ahí en 6x6 y estos sellos y troqueles coordinados de sizzix que me habéis visto utilizar en multitud de ocasiones.

To do it I used bright scraps of paper from a 6x6 colection I had and the stamps and dies from sizzix which you have seen me using lots of other times.

Hoy vengo con una entrada rápida para enseñaros el par de tarjetas que hice para felicitar el cumpleaños de mis amigas Barda y Amaya.

I come today with quick post to show you the birthday cards I did to wish happy birthday to my friends Barda y Amaya.

Como podéis ver son postales muy sencillas, con troqueles en dos medidas diferentes para poner el sentimiento, unas mariposas recortadas, unos brillantitos y un poco de whasi tape para adornarla.

As you can see there are really simple cards. They have two cut dies in different measures to place the sentiment, some butterflies, sparkly pearls and a bit of washi tape to ornate them.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños / Birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros la tarjeta de cumpleaños que le hice para felicitar a mi "pequeña" Ashley, que cumplió el otro día 12 añazos. 

Hi everyone!!!

I come today to show you the birthday card I did to wish happy birthday to my "little" Ashley, who is already 12.

He utilizado exclusivamente papeles de la colección "now and then" de Jen Allyson para My mind's eye en 6x6. Como había utilizado papeles con topitos para el fondo y también con flores, decidí troquelar las flores en un papel con motivos geométricos. La mariposa la troquelé con el mismo papel de topitos que utilicé para la parte baja de la tarjeta. Con las flores y la mariposa conseguí darle un poco de volumen a la tarjeta y para darle continuidad al conjunto utilicé la tinta distress worn lipstick para entintar los bordes de todos los elementos.

I have exclusively used paper the collection "now and then" by Jen Allyson's for My mind's eye in 6x6. As I had used papers with spots for the background and also with flowers, I decided to cut the flowers on a paper with geometric motifs. I punched the butterfly from the same paper I used for the bottom of the card. With the flowers and the butterfly I managed to give a little volume to the card and to give continuity to the set I used the distress ink worn lipstick to ink the edges of all the elements.

Today I come with a quick post to show you the birthday card I did for my sister.

Los papeles son de la colección "be amazing" de Rhonna Farrer para My mind's eye. 

Temática viajera para la trotamundos que con sus viajes, en muchas ocasiones, me ha hecho soñar a mi también. 

The paper are from the colection "be amazing" by Rhonna Farrer for My mind's eye. 

Wanderer theme for the traveller who, with her travels, lots of the times, had made me dream about it as well.

Embossing resistant birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros la tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para Ana con la técnica del embossing resistant.

Hi everyone!!!

I come today to show you the birthday card I did for Ana with the embossing resistant technique.

Como podéis ver y a excepción del corazón, el resto es una tarjeta de una sola capa. La técnica del embossing resistant cosiste en estampar un sello con tinta de embossing, añadirle los polvos de embossing y derretirlos con una pistola de calor. Yo utilicé el sello que veis del busto de una chica de perfil con el pelo al aire entremezclado con flores y polvos de embossing transparentes. Luego hice un degradado con las tintas distress "worn lipstick", "Dried marigold" y "Mustard seed". La gracias de la técnica cosiste en que las tintas no pintan encima del embossing y así queda destacado. Para acabar la tarjeta le hice un falso cosido todo alrededor, le estampé el felicidades y le añadí un corazoncillo.

As you can see and except for the little heart, the rest of the card is a one layer card. The embossing resistat technique consist of stamp a motive with embossing ink, put on it embossing powder and melt it with a heat gun. I used the stamp you can see of a woman profile with the hair on the air flying with flowers and transparent embossing powder. Then I degraded the distress inks "worn lipstick", "Dried marigold" and "Mustard seed". The trick of the technique is that the embossed part will not take the insk, so it stands as you have embossed. To finish the card I did a false stitched all around the card, stamped the 'felicidades' and added the little heart.

Happy flower birthday card

Hoy vengo con una tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para la florecilla feliz del grupo de amig@s de aquí de Winchester. 

Hi everyone!!!

I come today with a birthday card I did for the little happy flower of the Winchester group of friends.

No puedo deciros exactamente los papeles de que colección son porque los saqué de la carpeta de recortes, así que supongo que son un poco de aquí y de allá, jejeje. La cosas es que conseguí darle a la tarjeta ese aire de frescura y de hippy happy girl que buscaba con el troquel de la bicicleta y el resto de adornillos que le puse por ahí.

I cannot tell you exactly from which colection are the papers I used, as they are from my scrap folder, so I guess they are a mix match, hahaha. The important thing is I got the fresh look of a hippy happy girl that I was looking for; in between the papers, the bicycle die and the rest of ornaments.

Tarjeta infantil - Children card

Después de un pequeño break, aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros así de forma muy rápida la tarjeta de cumpleaños que le hice a la pequeña Aitana.

After a little break, here I am again to quickly show you the birthday card I did for little Aitana.

Para el fondo utilicé papeles de la colección "Serendipy" de Dear Lizzy para American Crafts. La muñequita es una de las Gorjuss de Santoro's y esta pintada íntegramente con copics.

For the background I used papers from the collection 'Serendipy' from Dear Lizzy for American Crafts. The little doll is a Gorjuss from Santoro's and it is completely painted with copics.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños / Birthday card

Hoy vengo con una entrada express para enseñaros la última tarjeta de cumpleaños que he hecho.

Hi everyone!!!

I am here today with a quick post to show you my last birthday card creation.

Hacía tiempo que no jugaba con los stencils y la pasta dimensional, así que que mejor ocasión que la tarjeta para felicitarle el cumpleaños a Laura. 

Como podéis ver es una tarjeta muy sencilla. utilizando sólamente la pasta dimensional negra sobre un fondo blanco. Para darle un poco más de contraste le puse un segundo fondo en negro. Para el sentimiento una banderola otra vez, blanco sobre negro, con el felicidades embossado en dorado.

It was such a long time since I last played around with my stencils and the dimensional paste, so no better occasion than Lauras birthday to use them again. 

As you can see is a really simple card. I only used the black dimensional paste over a white background. To give a bit more of contrast I overlaped to a black background. For the sentiment I added a banner, again white over black, with the "Happy Birthday" embossed in gold.

Y hasta aquí la entrada de hoy, ya había avisado de que hoy era algo rapidito, jejeje. A Laura que la recibió el domingo pasado le encantó así que espero que a vosotros también os haya gustado. Un besito, disfrutad del verano y continuad sonriendo!!!

Universo mágico / Magic universe

Hoy vengo a enseñaros una tarjeta muy mágica. Y es que tenía tantas ganas de estrenar mi troquel de unicornio... 

Hi everyone!!!

Today I am here to show you a really magic card. I couldn't wait to use my new unicorn die...

Me puse a jugar con las distress y cuando conseguí un fondo que me gustaba lo suficiente, pulvericé agua para que quedase el aspecto de acuarela que podéis ver. 

Troquelé mi unicornio en blanco y le embosé en dorado el pelo y la cola, las pezuñas y como no, el cuerno. Troquelé también en blanco un arabesco muy chulo que tengo desde hace tiempo y que no utilizo todo lo que debería, con lo chulo que queda. 

Para finalizar la tarjeta le estampé un sentimiento en negro que fuese con este mágico mundo de color y fantasía. "Que tengas el día más mágico del mundo". Lo rematé con unas cuantas estrellitas estampadas también en negro y con un enmarcado, para resaltar más todavía el papel.

I played a bit around with my distress inks until I get the background I wanted. I did add some water to give it the aquacolor look that you can see in the pics.

I died my unicorn in white and embossed on gold the hair, troters and corn. I also died an arabesc I got time ago, which I am not using as much as I should seen how great it looks.

To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and some litle starts around. I did fram it with a black pen to highligted a bit more.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños / Birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros la última tarjeta que he hecho para felicitar a mi amiga Aida en su cumpleaños. 

Hi everyone!!!

I am here today to show you the last card I've done, to wish happy birthday to my friend Aida.

Como podéis ver es una tarjeta bastante sencilla. Simplemente eché unas gotitas de glimmer mist en rosa a la cartulina blanca. Luego embosé un trozo de cartulina en dorado y troquelé varios círculos de diferentes tamaños y una pluma. También embosé una segunda pluma troquelada en plateado. Troquelé más círculos de un papel rosa palo y añadí el sentimiento y un lacito con baker twin para sujetar las plumas. Para acabar esta tarjeta tan glamurosa que me salió embosé también los bordes de la tarjeta en dorado.

As you can see, is a quite simple card. I splash some drops of pink gllimmer mist on a white cardsboard. I embossed on gold a piece of card paper and punched some circles and a feather. I embossed a second feather on silver. Then I punched some more circles in a light pink. I added the sentiment and a bow with baker twin to tie the feathers. To finish the card I also embossed the edges on gold.

Reto de Mayo de La Pareja Creativa - May's challenge from La Pareja Creativa

Hoy vengo con el reto de Mayo de La Pareja Creativa. 

En este reto la única condición es crear un trabajo sólo con troqueles, sin sellos. Yo me decidí por una tarjeta cuadrada, a la que redondeé las esquinas. Utilicé la colección de papeles 'Now and then - Dorothy' de My minds eye. El sentimiento lo hice con un troquel con la frase 'Happy birthday' y la finalicé con una mariposa troquelada y unas cuantas perlitas.

Today I come with May's challenge from La Pareja Creativa.

In that challenge the only condition is to create a work onnly with dies, without using stamps. I decided to do a square card, with round corners. I used the paper colection 'Now and then - Dorothy' from My minds eye. I did the sentiment with a die and finish the card with a punch of a butterfly and some pearls.

El fondo de la tarjeta está hecho con trozos de diferentes papeles de la colección 'Now and then' de My mind's eyes. Intenta imitar el patchwork o labores con pedazos, ya que los muñequitos que escogí para la tarjeta también siguen esta temática. 

Tanto el conejito, como el búho y las florecillas son de la misma colección de sellos, 'Oscar the owl & pals' diseñada por Jennifer Ellory, y están pintados con copics.

The background of the card is made up from different piece of paper of the collection 'Now and then' from My mind's eyes. I tryed to do a kind of patchwork with paper, to link it with the little pals I chose as they are following that patchwork topic.

The rabit, the owl and the little flowers are from the same stamps collection, 'Oscar the owl and pals' disigned by Jennifer Ellory, and all of them are coloured in with copics.

Creo que ha quedado una tarjeta muy tierna para felicitar a la niña de mis ojos.

Hoy vengo con el último reto de tarjetas de 3flowers y cuando digo último, me refiero a último. Andrea la florecilla tarjetera del mundo scrapero ha decidido que los retos de 3flowers han llegado a su fin. Así que aquí estoy con mi pequeño homenaje a su labor y el del resto de las DTs que durante todo este tiempo han hecho posibles estos retos.

I come today with the last card challenge from 3flowers and when I say last, I mean last.

Andrea, the cards little flowers of the scrap world has decided to end those challenges. So here I am with that little tribute to her and the rest of DTs hard work, that during that time have made these challenges possible.
