Embossing resistant birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros la tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para Ana con la técnica del embossing resistant.

I come today to show you the birthday card I did for Ana with the embossing resistant technique.

Como podéis ver y a excepción del corazón, el resto es una tarjeta de una sola capa. La técnica del embossing resistant cosiste en estampar un sello con tinta de embossing, añadirle los polvos de embossing y derretirlos con una pistola de calor. Yo utilicé el sello que veis del busto de una chica de perfil con el pelo al aire entremezclado con flores y polvos de embossing transparentes. Luego hice un degradado con las tintas distress "worn lipstick", "Dried marigold" y "Mustard seed". La gracias de la técnica cosiste en que las tintas no pintan encima del embossing y así queda destacado. Para acabar la tarjeta le hice un falso cosido todo alrededor, le estampé el felicidades y le añadí un corazoncillo.

As you can see and except for the little heart, the rest of the card is a one layer card. The embossing resistat technique consist of stamp a motive with embossing ink, put on it embossing powder and melt it with a heat gun. I used the stamp you can see of a woman profile with the hair on the air flying with flowers and transparent embossing powder. Then I degraded the distress inks "worn lipstick", "Dried marigold" and "Mustard seed". The trick of the technique is that the embossed part will not take the insk, so it stands as you have embossed. To finish the card I did a false stitched all around the card, stamped the 'felicidades' and added the little heart.

CJ 19#2017 - Inauguración piso S'ton Ana y Hernani / Ana's & Hernani's S'ton flat inauguration

Aquí me tenéis de nuevo con una entrada de mi Creative Journal. Esta vez dedicada a la inauguración del piso de Ana y Hernani, y es que nos encanta juntarnos y preparar comilonas a la Española de esas que empiezan a medio día y nunca sabes cuando acaban.

Hi everyone!!!

Here I am again with a new post about my Creative Journal. That time dedicated to Ana's and Hernani's flat inauguration. We love to meet and prepare big Spanish lunches, those that start at midday and you never know when will finish.

Me gustaba el fondo sobre el que me tocaba trabajar, pero me apetecía darle un toque otoñal, así que decidí coger unos trozos de papel rasgados y mis tintas distress (mustard seed, dried marigold y fired brick) y darle un poco de color al tema.

That time I liked the background, but I wanted to give it an autumnal touch, so I tokk some distressed scrap papers and my distress inks (mustard seed, dried marigold and fired brick) and to give a bit of color to the pages.

En la foto de arriba podéis ver la idea de lo que quería hacer y abajo el resultado del fondo.

On the photo above you can see the idea and on the one below the background result.

Luego le apliqué el par de fotos que tenía del día en la página izquierda y en la derecha puse el título con un alfabeto en amarillo. Como me parecía que las letras no se veían bien bordeé las letras con un bolígrafo negro para resaltarlas.

After having the background completed I added the couple of pictures of the day on the left page and on the right one I added the title with a yellow alphabet. As I though the letters weren't too visible I went round them with a blanck pen to highlight them.

Qué os parece el resultado? Os ha gustado? Espero que sí.

Happy flower birthday card

Hoy vengo con una tarjeta de cumpleaños que hice para la florecilla feliz del grupo de amig@s de aquí de Winchester. 

Hi everyone!!!

I come today with a birthday card I did for the little happy flower of the Winchester group of friends.

No puedo deciros exactamente los papeles de que colección son porque los saqué de la carpeta de recortes, así que supongo que son un poco de aquí y de allá, jejeje. La cosas es que conseguí darle a la tarjeta ese aire de frescura y de hippy happy girl que buscaba con el troquel de la bicicleta y el resto de adornillos que le puse por ahí.

I cannot tell you exactly from which colection are the papers I used, as they are from my scrap folder, so I guess they are a mix match, hahaha. The important thing is I got the fresh look of a hippy happy girl that I was looking for; in between the papers, the bicycle die and the rest of ornaments.

Here I am once more to show you a page from my bullet journal.

Tenía el día inspirado y me apetecía dibujar un mandala. Y por supuesto acompañarlo de uno de mis mantras "Cambiando el mundo con una sonrisa". Ya sabéis que soy una firme defensora de las sonrisas y estoy 100% convencida de que una sonrisa puede cambiar tu mundo, o quien sabe el mundo de quien, así que ofrecela siempre que tengas ocasión.

I had the day inspired and I wanted to draw a mandala. Of couse I also write one of my mantras "Changing the world with a smile". As you know I am a firm defender of the smiles and I am 100% sure a smile have the power to change your world, or who knows whose world, so offer it always that you have an occasion to do it.

Después de un pequeño break, aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros así de forma muy rápida la tarjeta de cumpleaños que le hice a la pequeña Aitana.

After a little break, here I am again to quickly show you the birthday card I did for little Aitana.

Para el fondo utilicé papeles de la colección "Serendipy" de Dear Lizzy para American Crafts. La muñequita es una de las Gorjuss de Santoro's y esta pintada íntegramente con copics.

For the background I used papers from the collection 'Serendipy' from Dear Lizzy for American Crafts. The little doll is a Gorjuss from Santoro's and it is completely painted with copics.

Bullet Journal - Septiembre/September

Agosto toca a su fin y llega el momento de enseñaros el planeamiento del mes de Septiembre de mi Bullet Journal. 

Hi everyone!!!

August is nearly finished, so it's time to show you the settings for September in my Bullet Journal

Aunque pueda ser raro para mi Septiembre es el mes donde empieza todo (y eso que no soy maestra) La segunda semana de Septiembre son las Fiestas de la Virgen de la Barda en Fitero, mi pueblo. Para mi marcan el fin del verano, la vuelta a la normalidad y a la rutina y normalmente también es el punto de salida de mis objetivos para el año. Así que tal y como se ve en la vista de mi calendario el día 9 toca anudarse el pañuelico rojo al cuello y disfrutar de las fiestas. Para los que os lo estáis preguntando, sí, por supuesto que me cojo vacaciones y me voy a mi rinconcito de paz en el mundo, a mi adorado Fitero, como he hecho durante toda mi vida, a disfrutar de las fiestas entre familiares y amigos. 

Even when it could seems rare, to me on September starts the year (and I am not a teacher) The second week of September are the Festivities of la Virgen de la Barda in Fitero, mi village. To me those festivals mark the end of the summer, the turn back to normality and rutine and normally is also the starting point for most of my goals for the year. As it is marked on my calendar view for September the 9th I will put on my red pañuelico and I will enjoy the festivals. For those who are wondering... yes, I take holidays to go back to my peace spot in the world, to my beloved Fitero, as I have done during all my life to enjoy nine days of festivals surrounded by family and friends.

CJ 18#2017 - I primada de "Los Morotos" / 1st Morotos Cousins gathering

Hoy vengo con una entrada que me hace especial ilusión compartir con todos vosotros. Es una entrada de mi Creative Journal, dedicada al primer encuentro oficial de los primos "Morotos", que celebramos para poner el broche de oro a unas fantásticas Navidades el 6 de Enero. Como os podéis imaginar, cada vez es más difícil que nos juntemos todos, cada uno tenemos nuestras vidas, cada uno vivimos en un sitio diferente y aunque nos vemos de vez en cuando, juntarnos de verdad todos a la vez es complicado. Así pues y por iniciativa de quien a heredado el mote del abuelo Ángel "El Moroto", nos pusimos de acuerdo para juntarnos en Fitero los siete primos con los respectivos y criaturas y celebrar nuestra primera primada oficial. No hace falta decir que todo salió genial y que sólo esperamos que sea la primera de muchas más. 

Hi everyone!!!

I come today with a post that i really wanted to share with all you. Is a new post from my Creative Journal, it is dedicated to the first official gathering of the Morotos cousins, which we hold back on January to end a fabulouse Christmas. As you can imagine, every time is more difficult to gather all together. Each one has his life, everyone live in a different place and even when we meet time to time, to do it all at the same time is quite difficult. So, as per iniciative of the one who keept the nickname of our grandfather Ángel "El Moroto", we decided to meet in Fitero the seven cousin with partners and children to celebrate the first Morotos Cousins gathering. There is not need to say that everything worked really well and we only expect to be the first one of lots to come.

Me gustó mucho el fondo sobre el que trabajar, así que no lo modifiqué. De hecho lo único que hice fue colocar las fotos que tenía del día y ponerle unos cuantos adornos.

I liked the background, so I didn't modify it. Actually, the only thing I did was to place the photos from the day and add some ornaments.

Uno de mis regalitos de navidades fue una fujifilm instax mini 8. Así que algunas de las fotos las hicimos con esa cámara. No todas salieron todo lo bien que nos hubiera gustado, pero igualmente las quise poner en mi creative journal. Además tenía la foto oficial de las escaleras, que me encanta. Las fotos instantáneas las até con un cordel en morado y blanco que sujeté con unos enamel dots. Para completar la página izquierda puse una tarjeta que dice "nuestra feliz loca ocupada familia", que le iba muy bien al evento.

One of my Christmas present was a fujifilm instax mini 8. We took some of the photos of the day with that camera. Not all of them were good pics, but equaly I wanted to have them on my creative journal. I also had the official photo on the stairs, which I love it. I tied the instant photos with a purple and white baked twin and attached to the journal with some enamel dots. To finish out the left page I added a card with a good message to define us.

En la página de la derecha coloqué la otra foto que me quedaba. La puse a modo de bolsillo para poder poner un poco de memoria escrita sobre el día dentro. Le sobrepuse una transparencia con unos edificios dibujados en una de las esquinas, que me pareció que quedaba fenomenal. Estampé el título y la fecha y le añadí unos triángulos de colores indicando la fecha.

On the right hand side page I placed the last picture from the day. I made a pocket with it, as I wanted to be able to keep there some journaling. I overplace a transparence with some buildings doodle on the corner, I though was perfect with the theme. I stamped the title and the date and to finish of the work I added some colour triangles indicating the date.
