La de hoy dedicada a la visita que hicimos al precioso pueblo portuario de Lymington. El dia estuvo bastante gris y la verdad es que probablemente le debemos otra visita para poder disfrutarlo en condiciones. Pero era el día que habíamos quedado con Aida para conocer a sus padres, así que hiciese el tiempo que hiciese había que ir y disfrutar el día.
Si nos quedásemos en casa en Inglaterra cada vez que llueve o esta el cielo gris, poco hubiésemos hecho en este país.
Hi everyone!! Another post from my Creative Journal.
Today's one is dedicated to the visit we did to the beutifull port village of Lymington. The day was quite gray, and the truth is that we oun it another visit to enjoy it. The day we went we were about to meet there Aida's parents, so it whatever the weather, we should be there and enjoy the day.
If we stay at home every day that rains or it is a bit gray, we had done really little in this country.
El fondo sobre el que me tocaba trabajar me gustaba mucho, pero me pegaba poco con el tema de trabajo, así que decidí taparlo parcialmente con papeles mas marineros. Me pareció que le iba bien la idea de no cortar los papeles exactos, así que los rasgué y creo que quedó un fondo para trabajar fantástico.
I liked lots the background of work, but it didn't meet with today's topic, so I decided to parcialy cover it with a more sailorship papers. I though it was a good idea to distress the papers instead of cut them exactly, and I thing it was a great background to work on it.
Para colocar las fotos decidí crear unos marcos con un papel con el fondo negro y anclas en tonos claros, que quedaba muy bien sobre el fondo en tonos claros. Además y para darle continuidad al trabajo rasgué los papeles para los marcos y creo que quedó genial.
El título decidí colocarlo el la página izquierda sobre la parte rosa y para ello simplemente hice un poco de lettering con un bolígrafo negro y no quedo mal del todo, no?
Para acabar las páginas añadí con el mismo bolígrafo que había escrito el título un marco alrededor. Le puse una florecilla en la esquina derecha y escribí un poco para documentar el día en el espacio que me quedaba en blanco en la página derecha.
To set the photos I decided to create frames with a paper with black background and anchores in light colours. To give continuity to the work I also distressed the frames papers and the result was great.
I decided to write the title on the left page over the pink part. I took my black pen and practice a bit of lettering. Lucky me it wasn't that bad, right?
To finish the work, with the same pen I used for the title, I draw a frame over the pages. I added a flower in the top right corner and a bit of journaling in the empty space on the right page.
