Tarjeta de cumpleaños - Birthday card

Hoy vengo a enseñaros una tarjeta que hice para el cumple de una buena amiga. 

Traigo una novedad al blog. Llevaba tiempo planteándomelo y creo que ha llegado la hora de comenzar a escribir las entradas también en inglés. No prometo hacerlo siempre, pero lo intentaré.

Today I would like to show you a card I did for a really good friend's birthday.

I come with a novelty to the blog. I have been thinking of it for a while, and I think is about the right time to start to write the entries also in English. I don't promise to do it always, but I will try.

Para hacer esta tarjeta me guié por uno de los scketchs de mojo Monday. No me preguntéis que numero era, porque no lo se, busque en la web y cogí el primero que me inspiró. No pensé en guardarlo para enseñároslo. Pero, palabrita, que la próxima vez lo hago.

Utilicé papeles de la colección "This and That" de Echo Paper. Ya no me quedan a penas, con lo que me gustan y lo que los he utilizado... tengo que confesar que compré la colección en 12x12'' un par de veces y también en 6x6''. Me parecen unos papeles tan bonitos... Bueno la cosa es que utilicé varios de los papeles de la colección crear la tarjeta. 

Troquelé unos festones para las particiones en granate y también la base para el sentimiento. 

Entinté todos los bordes con la Distress "aged mahogany" para que los diferentes elementos quedasen mejor integrados. 

Le añadí el sentimiento y unos troqueles de ramitas con una flor. Unas perlitas y... aunque no suelo hacerlo, esta vez os voy a enseñar también el interior de la tarjeta (Sin escribir por supuesto) Y es que vamos teniendo ya una edad y la frase de este sello me encanta "Las arrugas deben simplemente indicar donde han estado las sonrisas". La acompañe por una par de mariposas troqueladas de la misma colección de papeles.

To do that card I guided myself with a sketch from Mojo Monday. Don't ask me which one it was, because I don't remember it, I searched in the web and chose the one that inspired me at the moment. I didn't think about to keep it to show it to you. I will do it next time.

I used "This and That" papers collection from Echo Paper. The collection is nearly finish, what it is a pitty... I love them so much... I should confess I bought the collection twice in 12x12'' and one more in 6x6''. I love those papers... Well, the thing is that I used several papers from that collection to do the card.

I punched some edges to do the partition in maroon and also for the base of the sentiment.

I inked the edges with the Distress ink 'aged mahogany' to integrate all the elements of the card.

I add the sentiment and some die with branches and a flower. some perals and... even when I normally don't do that, for that time I wouls like to show you the inside of the card. We are becoming an age and I love the sentence. I did completed with a couple of butterflies.
